🧹🔧 Celebrating Our Custodial & Maintenance Crew!
October 2 is Custodial & Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day!
From the summer months spent preparing our buildings for a new school year to the countless hours they put in throughout the year, our custodial and maintenance crews work hard behind the scenes to keep our schools safe, clean, welcoming, and running smoothly.
We are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated team! Their hard work often happens behind the scenes, but the impact they make is felt by our students, staff, and families every single day.
Thank you to our amazing custodial and maintenance crew for everything you do for our district! We appreciate your dedication, hard work, and commitment to our schools and our students.
We are proud to have one of the best teams around! ❤️
Happy Custodial & Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day!

We’ve also had lots of other hands-on apple activities happening throughout the last few weeks, and kindergarten is keeping up the fun!
We love seeing our students learning, exploring, and having fun through hands-on experiences! 🍎🔬

First grade with Mrs. Dicus has been having so much fun learning all about apples! 🍎
After trying several apple products, students made their very own applesauce “cake” using applesauce, granola, and vanilla wafers. Some of us loved it… and some of us definitely did not! Ha!
The apple fun continues as students make applesauce in class and compare store-bought applesauce with their homemade version. They’ll get to decide which one they like better!

And they’re celebrating for plenty of reasons — including Dolly Parton’s incredible commitment to literacy and getting books into the hands of children!
Even though our workdays start long before 9:00, our lunch ladies still know how to bring a little Dolly sparkle to the school day! ✨
We love when our staff finds fun ways to celebrate and spread a little joy with our Pintos!
