Mrs. Norman’s class stepped back in time to experience life in the 13 colonies! Students learned how King George III taxed the colonists to help pay off debt from the French and Indian War. By paying taxes to Queen Harvey, they got a firsthand look at why the colonists were frustrated with taxation without representation!
What a fun, hands-on way to bring history to life! It’s a great day to be a Pinto!
