I am thrilled to introduce myself and my family as we prepare to join the Pintos community. My name is Brandie Harvey, and I have four wonderful children who keep me busy and filled with joy throughout the year! Faith is a junior, Grace is a sophomore, Cayson is in 6th grade, and Ellie is in 5th grade. Our family includes a lovable German Shepherd named Cocoa and a playful cat named Rocky. When we aren't cheering from the bleachers at various sporting events, you can find us enjoying the outdoors, swimming, or spending quality time at the lake with family. As a devoted sports family, we’re proud supporters of the Oklahoma Sooners and the Kansas City Chiefs!
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Graceland University, a Master’s of Education, and an Education Specialist's degree from William Woods University. My professional journey spans nine years as an elementary teacher, during which I had the pleasure of coaching cheerleading. Additionally, I served as an Administrative Intern at both Burke Academy and Crittenton Children’s Center within the Hickman Mills C-1 School District. I was honored to return to my hometown and serve as the Elementary Assistant Principal in the Oak Grove School District, a role that has been a heartfelt journey. My instructional leadership style emphasizes building strong relationships, monitoring student achievement, collaborating effectively with all stakeholders, and maintaining a positive environment.
I am passionate about student success and look forward to the opportunities for growth that lie ahead. I aim to leverage my skills and experience to lead CES to new heights of success while celebrating and building upon the strong traditions already established within the school community. I am eager to contribute to the California community by fostering an environment where students can reach their fullest potential and teachers can thrive. With outstanding community support and talented staff, I believe the future in California is exceptionally bright!
I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to serve the California students and community! I look forward to getting to know all of you.
Go Pintos!
